Vintage Monday: Zebra sequin top

Sorry about the late Vintage Monday!  Here's one of my favorite pieces we sold at the shop this past weekend.  It was found by Sydney in the great Midwest and is such a special vintage piece!

Wishlist Wednesday: Navy stripes

Sometimes I like to load up virtual shopping carts of my favorite stores to create my own little wishlists.  It's a good way of waiting for my favorite items to go on sale :)

I was scanning my Urban Outfitters cart and these items were in there--can you tell I'm a bit obsessed with stripes and navy this spring?

Wishlist Wednesday: Zara spring collection

So remember the Zara skirt I posted last week?  I've been pouring through the Zara site ever since and have found some lovely items that I'm contemplating on adding to my wardrobe.  These are all different choices for me, mainly bright colors and long skirts, but I think a few additions would fit in nicely with what I do have and add a bit more variety.

**ok so I don't need more shoes but I couldn't resist adding these in! :)

Wishlist Wednesday: Spring skirts

Spring is almost here (well in Texas at least) and it's time to break out dresses and skirts again!  The following skirts are so versatile, easy to pair and ready to help you welcome warmer weather.

At the top of my wishlist, this yellow skirt from Emersonmade

A lovely ladylike floral from Tracy Reese

Fun preppy navy and white polka dots from Lands End Canvas

The Jcrew Dorrie skirt is great for work or casual weekends

This Talbot number is tea length and so ladylike

And an airy etheral pleated skirt from Zara to practice your twirling

Hello Spring!

Wishlist Wednesday: January fashion wishlist

January wishlist

I recently discovered Polyvore where you can save your favorite online images and compile nifty collages.  What I haven't figured out is why some of my pictures have a fuzzy grey background.  Ah well.

Here's the first Polyvore set I've made of my January fashion wishlist:
Jcrew buffalo check boy shirt, striped Madewell tee, Lululemon wunder under pants, Anthropologie field skirt in gold, Chie Mihara bow pumps

What's on your list this month?

Wishlist Wednesday: Clare Vivier leather goods

I think I may have just found my birthday present this year.  Clare Vivier bags are locally made in LA and the simple styles and minimal embellishments only serve to highlight the classic lines and quality of the leather used.

Grechen and I were at Spartan today (which may be my favorite boutique in Austin, hands down) and were able to take a look at their selection of Clare Vivier goods.  The leather is super soft and lightweight--a huge plus in my book as I have no inclination for heavy bags (I already stuff my bags full of snacks as is)

Now I'm torn between the gorgeous La Tropézienne (the leather is just amazing)

Or the ever practical Messenger Tote with a zip closure and long strap

Her clutches are gorgeous as well!

Tucker by Gaby Basora for Target

I'm hijacking today's Favorite Friday recipe post for another Target collaboration post.  This time it's Tucker by Gaby Basora who is famous for her casual silk button down dresses.  This line was previewed on Gilt and sold out in record time so I can only imagine how quickly it'll sell out come Sept 12.  New images were just released and you can find a comprehensive preview on Nitrolicious.  Here are a couple of items I'm saving up my pennies for and hoping to check out:

Signature Dress in Diamond Print

Signature Blouse in Cream

Halter Top in Floral Print

Tie-Front Blouse in Orange Polka-Dot Print

Trench in Green Herringbone
