Though I've technically been to Europe before (if you count the Germany and Amsterdam airports), this will be my first time actually exploring this continent (B's too) and we're super excited! We're thinking of taking the train to Paris for a day trip as well. There seems to be so much to do in both cities it's hard to know where to start!
Here's my list so far:
To do in London and Paris
- Obtain every type of Cadbury chocolate made in the UK
- Eat my weight in croissants
- aaaaand that's as far as I got...
Obviously I need some help--so... what are your must see, must do, and must eat recommendations for London and Paris?
SO jealous! This is awesome! Can you please bring me Cadbury chocolate? It is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteVisit Fauchon, an open air market, heck eat street food in Paris and blog about it. As for London, I hear the foosd is better than when I was there....try some twiglets and weird flavored chips, they have shrimp and curry!
ReplyDeleteNever been but if I did, would have to see the Beatles Penny Lane and Strawberry Field in Liverpool. Also, Abby Road in London. Don't know that anything of any value came from England, other than the Beatles.

Galen obviously you haven't had Cadbury chocolate from England! I will try to find some sugar free ones for you!
ReplyDeleteoh and b says where do you think Harry potter came from
ReplyDeleteDepending on how long you have in London, I might skip the day trip to Paris since you can do so much in London! I haven't been in a loooong time, but I love the V&A Museum and the Tate. Shopping (especially for shoes) is killer. Kew Gardens. The food halls at the giant department stores. Stuff Maltesers in every available crevice in your luggage!
ReplyDeleteWho's Harry Potter?
