Wishlist Wednesday: Sugar and creamer sets

I have an inordinate love for sugar and creamer sets.  I love the English tradition of taking cream and sugar with my tea though I hardly get a chance to do so (pesky work).  Ah to be a lady who lunches!  Frivolity aside, there are multiple uses for these little sets (or so I say to justify my growing collection)--you can use the creamers as impromptu vases for flowers and the sugar jars are perfect for cotton balls, buttons, jewelry and other little treasures.  Here are some of my favorite sets gathered from google images:

I have this set from Anthropologie--it's sitting in the guest bathroom and houses qtips and cottonballs!

Cobalt and orange sets from Fiestaware

A modern white ceramic set

My absolute favorite Franciscan Starburst (the teapot isn't too shabby either!)

Lovely vintage jadeite set

Some bright and quirky vintage sets

Vintage Marcrest (I found the sugar jar in Tallahassee and am looking for the creamer!)

And just for fun, a little whale set

Wishlist Wednesday: spring flowers

I know it's not officially spring yet, but it sure feels like it here, with the sunshine and cool breezes, leaves budding and flowers blooming. It also doesn't hurt that I'm on spring break! :)

Today's wishlist: ranunculus flowers--I am in love with these and I dream of having a garden and houseful of these! (the above pic is mine from last year, the rest from lovely google images)

Also to welcome Spring, my wishlist includes this Snow Covered Fields dress from Anthropologie (where else?)

Wishlist Wednesday: silk blouses and spring please

The weather is cold and rainy out and I am sitting here in my uggs dreaming of spring! I adore silk blouses with pretty little details and these would be perfect paired with a pencil skirt or tucked into some high-waisted pants. To quote E. Marshall from "Spring Thought": Out with the cold, in with the woo!
