We're about to hit 100 degree temperatures soon and it's going to be another 5 months of summer before I can even think about jeans or closed toe shoes again.
Enter the jersey dress. So simple to put on, lightweight to keep you cool, and easy to accessorize. I have my share of Jcrew and Target jersey dresses and lately I've been drawn to the draping that only James Perse and T by Alexander Wang can do or my newest obsession: Costello Tagliapietra. These Brooklyn based designers have partnered with Uniqlo (Japan's equivalent of a Gap, except much much better) and the result is a lovely line of dresses with unique detailing that makes them perfect for work or the weekend. Alas the only Uniqlo in the US is in New York City.
And here are the designers: Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra. Really.
Seriously? Those are the designers? They look so lumberjacky. And they make those gorgeous jersey dresses. Wow.
